Like so many compelling stories, ours started on a napkin in 2006. It began with one survivor’s bold desire to get every U.S. city to affirm their commitment to breaking the silence and cycle of domestic violence during Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October.
And it BLOOMED from there—schools, communities, and military installations across the U.S. now implement our programs. All delivering on the BOLD goal to Uproot Abuse in a generation.
Donna Bartos, inspired by her own lived experience and two decades of self-guided research, founded BLOOM365 to #Uproot Abuse—with a focus on sustainable, scalable, and youth-driven education, advocacy, intervention, and activism.
Now, our growing team of donors, sponsors, and allies includes a nationwide network of teen Peer Advocates in middle and high schools, and on college campuses; Peer Influencers in military installations; victim-advocacy organizations; police departments; elected officials; celebrities; and early-adopter partners.
